Three Days. One Very Good Reason to Go to San Francisco.

What started with RM’s art collection at SFMOMA turned into something bigger: a reason to gather in one of my favorite kinds of ways — exploring, eating, laughing, and experiencing something together.

In January, I’m bringing two groups to San Francisco for three days built around art, food, friendship, and a little beautiful chaos.

January 18–20, 2027
January 21–23, 2027

Both groups will experience the same adventure.

Both January groups are currently full. Want on the waitlist? The signup form is at the bottom of this page.

  •  The Art

The reason this whole adventure exists. We’ll visit SFMOMA to experience RM’s personal art collection together — not rushing through it, but actually taking the time to see what he sees.

  •  The City

We’re not flying all the way to San Francisco just to walk through a museum. We’ll eat well, explore the city, see some iconic places, and leave room for the kind of unexpected moments that usually become the best stories.

  •  The People

This might be my favorite part. Come alone. Come with a friend. Either way, you’ll leave knowing people you didn’t know before. Because somehow the meals, the wandering, the inside jokes, and the beautiful chaos have a way of turning a group of strangers into a community.

So, What Does Three Days With Me Look Like?

Think less “tour bus with a clipboard” and more a really good long weekend with people who get it.

We’ll have our plans — including RM’s collection at SFMOMA — but I also want time to wander, eat something ridiculous, stop when something catches our attention, and actually enjoy being in San Francisco.

Your experience includes:

  • Two nights of hotel accommodations
  • Our visit to RM’s collection at SFMOMA
  • Planned activities and experiences around San Francisco
  • Group meals and plenty of time to explore
  • Transportation for our scheduled group activities
  • A few surprises because I apparently cannot help myself
  • And, most importantly, a built-in group of people to experience it all with

You’ll be responsible for getting yourself to and from San Francisco. Once you arrive, transportation for our scheduled group activities is taken care of.

Exact schedules and details will be shared with registered travelers as we get closer.

Who This Trip is For

This trip is probably for you if…

You like having a plan, but you don't need every minute planned.

You can roll with a change when travel inevitably does what travel does.

You enjoy meeting new people and becoming part of the group.

You'd rather have a memorable experience than a perfectly curated one.

You understand that sometimes the best part of a trip is the thing nobody planned.

And you're willing to bring a little patience, flexibility, curiosity, and humor along with your suitcase.

Basically: come ready to participate, not just be transported.

Missed San Francisco? Maybe Not.

Both January groups are currently full — but plans change, spots sometimes open, and if there’s enough interest, you never know what I might decide to do.

If San Francisco is the trip you want, join the waitlist. You’ll be the first to know if a space becomes available or another group is added.

Want to Go Somewhere Else With Me?

San Francisco is only the beginning. I’m already working on future adventures, from smaller trips here in the U.S. to much bigger ones farther from home.

The destinations will change. The basic idea won’t:

Go somewhere interesting. Do something memorable. Find your people along the way.
