I Thought I Was Going to Some Concerts.

Somewhere along the way, it became a story.

For five and a half months, I followed BTS across cities, countries, stadiums, airports, hotel rooms, rainstorms, ridiculous heat, unexpected friendships, and more than a few moments when I wondered what the hell I was doing.

I started documenting it because I wanted to remember.

What I ended up with was Anyhoo: Notes From the Best Midlife Crisis Ever — a visual memoir told through my own footage, photographs, concert memories, and narration.

It’s about BTS. But it’s also about getting older, saying yes, finding your people, grief, joy, independence, and discovering that your life can get much bigger at exactly the age you thought it was supposed to start getting smaller.

This Isn’t a Documentary. And It Isn’t Quite a Book.

It’s something in between.

I took the footage I captured along the way — the concerts, the travel days, the ridiculous moments, the quiet ones — and turned it into chapters of a story, narrated by me.

You’ll see what I saw. But more importantly, I’ll tell you what was happening when the camera wasn’t rolling.

  • My Footage

Five and a half months of airports, cities, stadiums, Korea, concerts, and the moments in between.

  • My Voice

The stories, context, and things I was thinking but wasn't necessarily saying at the time.

  • The Story Behind the Tour

What happened when following BTS around the world became about something much bigger than BTS.

Maybe You’ve Had a Midlife Crisis, Too.

Maybe yours didn’t involve flying around the world to see BTS.

But maybe you’ve reached an age where you’ve started asking yourself:

What do I want the rest of my life to look like?

This is the story of what happened when I stopped waiting for the sensible answer and started saying yes.

Yes to the ticket.
Yes to going alone.
Yes to strangers who became friends.
Yes to being ridiculous.
Yes to doing things I was probably “too old” to be doing.

And somewhere in all of that, I found parts of myself I didn’t realize I’d misplaced.

Come with me.

This is the closest I can get to taking you along for the ride.

Five and a half months. Multiple countries. A ridiculous number of flights. More BTS concerts than any reasonable person needed to attend.

And one woman who came home different than when she left.

Anyhoo: Notes From the Best Midlife Crisis Ever is the story of what happened along the way.
