Share Your Story: The Wake Up Interviews
Over the past few years, I’ve heard hundreds of incredible stories from people whose lives changed in unexpected ways — sometimes through music, sometimes through a moment of courage, and sometimes through a quiet realization that life wasn’t finished yet.
I’m beginning a new interview series to capture some of those stories.
These conversations will explore moments when something in life shifted — when a door opened, a perspective changed, or a part of you woke up again.
There are two kinds of stories I’m especially interested in exploring.
The first focuses on the powerful ways BTS has impacted people’s lives. Many of us discovered the group during moments when we needed hope, creativity, or connection. If BTS entered your life and something meaningful changed afterward — your outlook, your courage, your friendships, your direction — I would love to hear that story.
The second type of conversation is a little broader. Sometimes the moment that wakes us up isn’t tied to music at all. It might be a life transition, a creative awakening, a brave decision, or a realization that you still have something meaningful ahead of you. I’m equally interested in those kinds of transformation stories.
If selected, we’ll record a relaxed conversation together (usually about 30-45 minutes). Depending on the focus of your story, interviews may be shared in one of two places:
• BTS-related stories will be published on the ARMY Project 529 YouTube channel, in collaboration with my personal account, with highlights shared across both sets of social media. A short bonus segment will also appear on the AP529 Patreon.
• Non-BTS transformation stories will be shared on my personal YouTube channel and social platforms, where I’m exploring broader conversations about second acts, courage, and waking up to new possibilities.
These interviews are meant to be thoughtful conversations, not counseling sessions. We’ll talk about your story, what changed, and what you discovered along the way.
If you’re interested in sharing your experience, please fill out the short form below. Not everyone who submits will be selected right away, but every story helps shape the direction of this project.
I’m looking forward to hearing what woke up in you.
